Mercedes-Benz Financial Services South Africa (Pty) Ltd works alongside Mercedes-Benz South Africa and its dealer network to provide innovative and quality finance and insurance solutions that are tailored to customers’ needs.

Mercedes-Benz Financial Services South Africa is wholly owned by Mercedes-Benz South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

The company started its South African operation on 1 April 1997 and is headquarted in Zwartkop, Gauteng.

Growth
Since its inception, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services South Africa has financed more than 100 000 customers.

It financed one in three of all Mercedes-Benz Cars sold locally as well as financed 40% of all Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles sold in South Africa.
 
The company also secured the R1.2 billion finance deal for the PRASA tender for expanded public transport in 2010.

At Mercedes-Benz South Africa we are extremely proud of our latest certification as a BBBEE Level 4 contributor. While we have led the industry overall from the outset, and remain the leader in this respect, we are happy to share this rating now with two other manufacturers.
    However, MBSA still sets the benchmark in the most strategic areas of Management Control, Employment Equity and Skills Development. 
    Our focus on transformation started long before legislation demanded it and therefore we have more experience to implement transformation in such a way to  best benefit all our stakeholders and interest groups.
    We believe in challenging ourselves daily to improve on this, wherever we can and in any manner possible.
