Six-month Internships in Germany
SAFRI - the Southern Africa Initiative of German Business – in association with Mercedes-Benz South Africa is offering students and young graduates from SADC countries a six-month internship with Daimler (the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles) and other world-class companies in Germany. STEP participants are given the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and work skills in preparation for their future careers.
To apply for STEP you must…
• be a citizen of a SADC country
• be fluent in English
• be completing your university studies (BCom/BEng/BSc/Btech or higher) in one of the following areas:
• commerce
• electrical / industrial / mechanical / mechatronic engineering
• IT
• HR
• finance
• economics
• marketing
• logistics
• be keen to learn German
• be highly motivated and ready to deliver top-level performance
• be able to adapt quickly to a new environment and culture
• be interested in meeting people and learning about a new country and culture
• be proficient in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint)
• Applicants must not have more than one year’s practical work experience
