In 2012, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services South Africa (Pty) Ltd (MBFSSA) celebrates a milestone 15 years of providing innovation and quality finance and insurance solutions that are tailored to customers’ needs. Since its inception MBFSSA has financed more than 100 000 customers.
The company is wholly owned by Mercedes-Benz South Africa Limited, operating alongside it, to provide both passenger car and commercial vehicles clients with a one-stop-shop service via its extensive dealer network.
In 2011, MBFSS financed one in four of all Mercedes-Benz Cars sold locally and one in three of all Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles sold in South Africa. This amounted to 45,248 units. Additionally, 18,979 insurance policies were maintained in 2011.
