The company started its South African operation on 1 April 1997 and is headquartered in Zwartkop, Gauteng.
Growth
Since its inception, Mercedes-Benz Financial Services South Africa has financed more than 100 000 customers.
It financed one in three of all Mercedes-Benz Cars sold locally as well as financed 40% of all Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles sold in South Africa.
The company also secured the R1.2 billion finance deal for the PRASA tender for expanded public transport in 2010.
