OVERVIEW

The appearance of the SL 65 AMG now announces its exceptional status more than ever before. The new-look front apron with a more pronounced arrow shape, black-painted radiator grille, and larger cooling air intakes harmonizes perfectly with the front end. The SL 65 AMG is ready to perform, rain or shine. A touch of a button opens the retractable hardtop roof in just 16 seconds.

INTERIOR

Electrically adjustable nappa leather AMG sports seats with a new AMG V12 diamond-pattern design capture and hold attention in the interior of the SL 65 AMG. Optimized lateral support, multi-contour function, memory, and seat heating make every journey in the SL 65 AMG a delight, whether it involves winding country roads or long-distance motorway cruising.

SPECIFICATIONS

The AMG 6.0-litre- V12 biturbo engine produces an output of 450 kW/612 hp and torque of 1000 Newton meters and makes the SL 65 AMG one of the world's most powerful and highest-torque roadsters. In fact, the SL 65 AMG offers a level of performance previously unheard of in this engine size class, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and passing the 200 km/h mark after just 12.9 seconds.

TECHNIQUES

The AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine stormed to a decisive victory in the International Engine of the Year Awards. In the Best Performance Engine category, the jury voted it best of its 70 elite rivals from Germany, Italy, Great Britain, France, the United States, and Japan—proving once again Mercedes-AMG’s expertise in the development of high-performance engines.
