SPECIFICATIONS

The SLK 55 AMG is now even more dynamic:  The handling dynamics have also been sharpened, that makes the 265 kW/360 hp two-seater even more agile and responsive. Finally, this unique roadster has been enhanced with a new front apron and dark-tinted headlamps give this unique roadster an even more athletic look even at a standstill.

INTERIOR

Sometimes, the temptation to drop the retractable hardtop is just too tempting… even on a colder day. No problem. The AIRSCARF neck-level heating provides comfort for cold-temperature defying sheer driving pleasure.

TECHNIQUES

The direct steering system with variable servo assistance provides first-class handling dynamics and makes the SLK 55 AMG even more agile. A key component of the direct steering system is the steering rack, which allows a ratio spread from 15.8:1 to 11.5:1 –offering the driver more responsiveness at around five degrees or more from the centered position.

OVERVIEW

Sporty refinement in its purest form: follow your urge for performance in a roadster bred for the racetrack. With the AMG 5.5 Litre naturally aspirated V8 engine lurking beneath the bonnet and a retractable hardtop that opens is just 22 seconds, the SLK 55 AMG was designed for exhilaration, without compromising classic style and sumptuous refinement.
