Mercedes-Benz Transport 02/2005

Dear friends in the trucking world

We are excited with the response from our customers and drivers to the new Atego and Axor models. In this edition we also highlight feedback from the competitive European market, in particularly on the Atego.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz Vans have done a great deal to promote active and passive safety. Ultimately the driver makes the difference with their ability to anticipate different situations and knowledge of securing loads correctly. We incourage you to read our feature on safety systems, driving and safety training and load securing.

The focus of the Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle team is on professional service and we will continue to strive to meet our customers' current and future needs. We take customer requirements very seriously and your feedback on the postcard in teh amagazine is most welcome, as this will enable us to serve your interests.

Enjoy this issue in which you will find articles that literally cover the globe, from East London, South Africa to Vitoria, Spain.
