MBSA has been named recipient of a 2010 International Business Award – the ‘Stevie’ Award - in the category ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Programme of the Year in the Middle East and Africa. This is awarded in recognition of our Siyakhana Project, based in the Eastern Cape. This year’s award-winning organisations and individuals were selected from 28 nations and more than 1 700 entries. It is thus a great honour to be internationally recognised for our company’s efforts in combating the spread of HIV and Aids. We are also encouraged thus to pursue innovative ways to assist not only our own employees and families, but the broader community. This way we help to build our collective future, our economy and our future business viability. .
